God Bless the USA

Taylor got out this flag this morning and said, God Bless the USA! So I put on the song and she started waving the flag and singing God Bless the USA! We wanted to thank all of the servicemen fighting for our freedom and safety!

Well I took a few videos of the girls this morning hoping to catch Chloe saying mama. Well this is what I got!

New Things for a New Year

Taylor Kate-

• Finally learning that she needs to share with Chloe because Chloe loves to play with what she is playing with!
• Loves preschool, library and friends.
• She talks on her phone to all of her friends daily. I am not sure what we are going to do when she is a teenager!
• Her favorite color is still pink, however, she is starting to like pink and black or pink and brown or pink and purple! As long as pink is somewhere in the mix she loves it!
• Her favorite activities are painting, play dough, using scissors, glue, taking pictures, going to the library and hanging out with her friends!
• Funny things she says are: I need to bring out my muscles, I think I need a candy snack, I do not like healthy food for a snack, bye poop say hi to Nemo for me, I have a big mommy- I like it that you are fat, you're a good cook mom cuz this food is delicioso!

Chloe

• Pull herself up into a standing position, she loves standing at the ottoman she just squeals with delight
• Half scoots and half crawls everywhere
• Continues to be a very happy baby and very low maintenance, only time she is very unhappy is riding in the car! She cries every time she is put in her car seat and in the car.
• Loves her walker, even tries to take it down the step daily
• Loves to eat paper
• Loves bitter biscuits which ruin her outfits daily
• Starting to enjoy food, however will not eat any of the organic homemade baby food I made or the frozen organic food. She will only devour baby food from a jar! She loves Earth's Best organic baby food from a jar so much she grunts while I feed her. Go figure!!!
• Loves to squeal when she is happy or wants your attention and it is a really high pitch squeal
• Laughs at Taylor when Taylor dances or tickles her
• Smiles really big after taking a nap and after eating

Craftiness

We try to do a craft or activity everyday to keep Taylor, Chloe and mommy sane and keep the television from entertaining Taylor with Dora and Elmo! Here are some of the Christmas stuff we have done over the last week!

Chocolate chip cookies and Oreo brownies for friends and neighbors! I have to get them outta the house before I eat them and then wonder why my pants are snug! Gingerbread house! Taylor had a hard time putting the candy on the house and not in her mouth!

Glitter pine cones! Taylor loved squirting the glue all over the pine cones because she had to "bring her muscles out" to squeeze the glue!

Footprint/handprint reindeer that is on quilting fabric! So in 18 years I will have this made into a reindeer quilt! Yeah, I know Steve has already said, "you are going to make them do that when they are 18?" Why, yes I am! Sorry girls
